Presbyterian Women

Presbyterian Women at RRPC invites all women of the church, members and visitors, to participate in their programs!

Purpose
Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves:
  • To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,
  • To support the mission of the church worldwide,
  • To work for justice and peace, and
  • To build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God's kingdom.
Mission Outreach
Current projects include:
  • Lamb's Basket, ISH (Henrico County Social Services),
  • Medical Benevolences,
  • Flannel blankets for African babies,
  • Care packages to an Army battalion in Iraq,
  • Clothing for a local abused women's shelter,
  • and more!

Presbyterian Women Sunshine Visitors

This fall, the Presbyterian Women of RRPC are launching a new visitation ministry called "Sunshine Visitors"!

Following our Circle meetings, volunteers (Sunshine Visitors) will go out in teams of two to visit women at RRPC who are homebound for a variety of reasons.  These are friends visiting friends.  There are no obligations involved and you do not have to be a member of PW.  Although our visitors will be going out each month, we won't be able to visit everyone every month.  You will be called shortly before the team leaves the church to make certain that a visit is convenient for you!
