River Road Rovers

Field Trips.  Luncheons.  Friendships

The River Road Rovers group provides wonderful fellowship opportunities for mature adults. Monthly programs are held at the church and consist of speakers and entertainment with a luncheon. Trips are scheduled throughout the year.

Participants take an active role in planning activities and operating the programs. This is a great way to make new friends as well as to nurture long-lasting relationships. Friends and neighbors are welcome to participate. Watch the newsletter for announcements about activities and come for the fun.

A one-time fee of $5.00 will be required of each person becoming a member of the River Road Rovers. This money provides an operating fund to be used by the planning team at its discretion. All financial responsibilities for any activity of the group will be that of the individual participating. The cost of the activity will be announced prior to the date of the activity. The cost will be based on a given number of participants.

Each member will fill out an application which includes name, address, telephone number, birthday, next of kin, pertinent health information, and the name of a local physician.

Before each trip, the group leader(s) must have a form signed by each participant releasing the planning team and River Road Presbyterian Church from responsibility for any mishap encountered by any member of the group.

A directory will be issued to members each September. Included will be guidelines for the River Road Rovers, the schedule of events for the year, and a roster of members with addresses, telephone numbers, and birthdays.

Members are encouraged to share in planning process by suggesting future activities.
