Stewardship

"What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?" -Micah 6:8

What is Stewardship?

Recognizing that all things come from and belong to God; we value faithful, joyful, and Biblical stewardship of all His gifts, including time, talents, and financial resources.

  • Giving is a privilege, not a duty.
  • We invest our gifts to grow the Kingdom.
  • Giving should be taught and lived from a young age.
  • We believe God is far more interested in your faith than your money. And naturally when the first happens, the second follows as Jesus tells us, "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." (Matthew 6:21)
  • The Lord has created our hearts to love, and you cannot truly love until you give it away. This applies to your loving in time, in talent, and in treasures.

"We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." (2 Corinthians 4:18) Growth is a process; and growing the grace of giving happens over time. Allow God to lead you as you grow in your faith and respond in your giving and serving.

Our theme for stewardship this year is "Servants and Stewards in Christ." This scripturally based approach allows our members to share of their time, talent and treasures. As a visitor or member, we invite you to recognize our needs and to consider returning to God many of the bountiful blessings that he has bestowed upon you.

This year's Stewardship team will be emphasizing Stewardship throughout the year. Look throughout this website for opportunities in your daily and weekly life to share your time and talents, in addition to your treasures to the life of this church."
